Fueling the Next Frontier: Aadi Space Connects with Global Leaders at London Space Finance

After spending a day at London Space Finance, Sachin Bhople, CFO Aadi Space  was able to actively immerse himself in United Kingdom’s vibrant space‑tech startup landscape, connecting directly with founders, innovators, and ecosystem leaders.

There were many insightful discussions including the fund raise as a part of Contested Space – where Maureen Haverty lobbed truth bombs and at the same time supplied power shots.

Commercial space and Capital, Risk and Opportunity discussions were nothing short of high-quality research papers ably guided by Joanna Hart and Sally Bridgeland.

Innovator panel was the highlight where the founder brigade from Space Aye, Space Phoenix Systems, Space Solar and BioOrbit  gave their perspective on the journey so far and vision for the future.

Scaling panel was deftly moderated by Neil Rae, KPMG. Sharon Parker-Lines, Astroscale, Daniel Ballin, Ideas Crucible, Jacob Greer, Orbit Fab shared industry perspective and Katya Gortbatiouk brought the room up to the speed on what LSEG has been doing to help the industry reach its scale and the potential without leaving the shores of London bourses.

The summit of the evening was rigorous and one must add frank, ‘Fireside Chat – The Next Five Years’. Moderated by Air marshal Andrew Turner – CEO, Calibre Capital, Lord Willetts – Chair, Regulatory Innovation Office and Michael Mainelli – Founder, Z/Yes Group – Former Lord Mayor of London.

Many thanks to Mark Wheatley, DWC Space for arranging this impeccable event. And appreciate Alasdair Gill for roping us in. He has been a friend and well-wisher of Aadi Space.

A final thought, a key message of the day was – #LondonCan.

After the LSF, at Aadi Space, a California based company – we believe: Yes, London can.

Sachin ended the day with a promise that the team Aadi Space will do an outreach to the new friends made at LSF.
